Super Berry Breakfast Smoothie

This recipe idea is great for breakfast on the run.

My freezer is always totally full, to the point of pulling the ice tray out so I have more room, so I rely on having a stash of frozen fruit when I don't have any ice handy. If i'm not super organised to cut and freeze my own fruit (let's be honest, i'm pretty much never that organised), then I just buy bags of frozen fruit from my local supermarket. There ain't no shame in that!

Smoothies are so versatile, and a really quick and easy way for you to pack in as much nutrients as possible in a short amount of time. Now, I know getting out the blender and cleaning it when your'e finished can be a task in itself, so if that puts you off then you might be inclined to check out some blenders on the market that are specific for smoothies on the run!

The great thing about smoothies, is that you can mix and match ingredients to suit either what is currently in your fridge or to suit your taste. This recipe is just my personal favourite, that I hope you might find delicious (and nutritious) too.

If you want to create a totally hipster smoothie bowl, then pour your smoothie into a bowl and top with a handful of blueberries, raspberries, granola, banana slices and swirl in some natural yoghurt. Voila! You're now a super hip #instamum.... Don't forget to take a snap of your creation and hashtag the shit out of it!
